A new partnership between P&G and Mall.cz has consumers in Prague shopping for groceries in the cities four busiest subway stations.  These virtual grocery stores offer mobile applications; just click on your favorite grocery items, sans loading and unloading from grocery cart to car, and opt for home delivery.

Oversized wallpaper, aka posters, take on the look and feel of traditional grocery store shelves with a twist, consumers simple point their iOS or Android-based mobile phone at the QR code and it automatically submits the order to the online store. Consumers can easily complete the order, schedule a delivery date and take advantage of two-day free express shipping.

When will we see this in the states?  I’m betting sooner rather than later.  Onward to Publixs for some old-fashion grocery store shopping!
